This is an overview of a Grapevine trip to Vienna. There were 13 of us and we partnered up with our partner, Venatour Sports Travel to have a wonderful few days getting us into the Christmas spirit. Apparently, Chopin once said “Vienna is a handsome, lively city, and pleases me exceedingly.” Well, I don’t think any of our members who joined us on this trip would disagree; it is, by any account, an aesthetic whirlwind and one which I’m not sure we were totally prepared for but absolutely loved.
One of our lovely members, Sally Anderson, gives a very amusing and honest insight into life as a busy mother, juggling work with her two very lively young boys!

Henry's going to be rowing solo across the Atlantic a couple of weeks time (12th December start), to raise money for three conservation and sustainability charities. Nicola was one of the world's top three day event riders who has won numerous medals for Great Britain at Olympics Games, World and European Championships, including becoming European Champion in 2021. Nicola suffered a horrendous, career ending fall at Badminton in 2022 and is on a long and arduous road to recovery. Nicola is an inspiration to us all, her competitive spirit, positivity and determination is unbelievable and is playing a huge part in helping her regain her mobility and make the most of her life now, as it's taken a new direction.

Originally from New Zealand, Jude has lived in England for the last 27 years and has established himself as a stalwart of the Cornish food scene. Jude has competed four times on the Great British Menu, representing the South West of England. His last effort culminating in Jude cooking at the Banquet for Invention and Innovation in Great Britain.
