Interview with top equine vet, Dr. Sue Dyson

I had a really interesting chat with Dr.Sue Dyson the other day. Apart from watching the chat, I highly recommend you watch her documentary called 'The 24 Behaviours of a Ridden Horse in Pain' it's extremely helpful and is something that anyone involved with horses should watch.

Dr. Sue Dyson is a world-renowned expert in equine orthopedics, with a focus on lameness and poor performance in sports horses. She lectures internationally and is known both for her clinical work and extensive research having published over 350 peer reviewed papers on lameness and diagnostic imaging in scientific journals. She’s also co-authored several veterinary textbooks as well as training and competing at top national level in both eventing and show jumping.

Sue tells us about the fascinating documentary that's recently been released called, 'The 24 Behaviours of the Ridden Horse in Pain'. We discuss how she gathered all this fascinating data and did her extensive research to create this 'must-watch' documentary. https://www.24horsebehaviors.org

We discuss why Sue thinks all riders and coaches needs to open their eyes more to understanding how when more than 8 of these behaviours are displayed in a horse, this can be is a strong indication of pain.
