In aid of Asia’s Wildlife Charity, Elephant Family, in partnership with Clarence Court Eggs, the Big Egg Hunt will run from 24th March - 27th April, 2025. There is a silent auction site where egg and art-lovers can bid to buy their favourite eggs, with the money raised going to support Elephant Family’s vital conservation work to protect habitats and wildlife in South Asia.
Each individual egg tells a unique story that is created to inspire the imagination and instill wonder amongst those who find them; Chopard unveiled their beautiful Chopard Insofu egg, which is inspired by their latest Haute Joaillerie collection cut from raw stone, a one-of-a-kind process full of both promise and uncertainties. Luxury townhouse hotel The Adria and Newby Teas have come together to create a giant teapot egg which celebrates the artistry of tea and hospitality, where the infamous Four Seasons Hotel will be housing Claire Luxton’s egg, ‘Precious Cargo’, which highlights the beauty and fragility of our ecosystem through delicate symbolism reminiscent of Renaissance artist such as Botticelli.
Members of the public will be able to ‘collect the eggs’ they find, ticking them off on a free app which is set to reveal prizes along the way and unlock exclusive offers from participating destinations, restaurants and brands. Each destination will be celebrating in their own way with family-friendly events. When the exhibition ends, these incredible sculptures will be auctioned to raise vital funds for Elephant Family, click here to find out more.
Elephant Family has enchanted the world with its public art displays since 2003; crafting masterpieces that not only captivate the imagination but also stir hearts and ignite change. Founded by Her Majesty the Queen’s late brother, the visionary Mark Shand, Elephant Family stands as a beacon of hope for Asian wildlife conservation. It is the only charity of which The King and Queen are currently joint Presidents.
In 2012, Mark Shand launched the Big Egg Hunt in London to raise money and awareness for the plight of the Asian Elephant and it was such a success that two years later, he took the idea to New York City. In 2024, The Little Egg Hunt, featuring 12 designs from names including Charlotte and Philip Colbert, returned to Chelsea in London, acting as a prelude to the 2025 trail, which aims to represent creativity within the city, free for all to enjoy.
